Where I talk about my April appearances, a video review, two books in the latest Previews catalogue, my first audio drama, more previews of Asteroid Adrift and more Boo Bear & Flo.

I can’t believe we’re already well into March. With the imminent return of spring, the return of comic shows are cropping up. Before the TCAF debut of ThunderBoom at the end of April, I’ll be attending the Ottawa Mini-Comic-Con on April 1st-2nd at the EY Centre. So come by and see me if you’re local and around that weekend…

Samurai 2.0…on YouTube

Diamond Previews final cutoff orders due March 23rd for ThunderBoom and…

It was super cool to discover that this month’s Diamond Previews, that’s the monthly catalogue that comic book shops order from, has not just one solicitation of a book written by me, but two!

ThunderBoom is in this catalogue (though it’s available for preorder elsewhere as I may have mentioned a few times already!) as well as Exciting Comics 36, the first Antarctic Press issue featuring the return of Dominion Jack!

I can’t wait to see Ron Salas’ cover in my hands…it just pops! This issue will have the story I did with Dominic Bercier, Mob Mentality, featured. The following issue will have the two stories Ron drew as the issues afterwards (up to #41) will follow with the Hugh Rookwood stories that we did digitally and unfortunately no longer available after the end of digital store, Comixology. Well, they’ll be in print now! Including new stories that Hugh and I are working on with Mark Shainblum. So lots more to come on that…

Taste Test…the audio comedy!

Hey, I wrote my first audio script! I was invited to pitch some ideas for an audio drama or comedy and I settled on an older idea I had around a relationship story I wanted to tell about a woman and her choice of…soft drinks. Asteroid Adrift Cover and Colour Previews

More preview art of Asteroid Adrift! I wanted to show off an early look at the cover Riccardo Bevilacqua’s been working on. As well as some colours from colour artist Patrik Mock. The book will be a mix of black and white, with some gray tones and full colour in spots. Once the colours are done, it’s on to the letters!

Boo Bear & Flo: The Dust-Shaped World - Pages 20-21-22

We’ve reached the final third of this sneezy adventure, by yours truly and Agnes Garbowska. Apologize if the resolution is low for these pages…I don’t appear to have any higher resolution versions than these…
